Functional Coatings

Functional composite coatings are a new generation of materials that exhibit unique physical and functional properties. Functional composite coatings can be used as an alternative to provide the excellent properties of bulk nano/micro composites at relatively low production costs. Depending upon the applications, cost, thickness, purity, desired properties and substrate limitations, composite coatings can be manufactured by various methods. These methods include electroplating, self-assembly, spin coating, chemical vapor deposition, sputtering, dip coating and spray coating.
